Michael Jordan

I am honored to serve as the Officer of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), as well as the At-Large Representative for the Sustainability Science Program within the School of Professional Studies Student Government (SPSSG). During my term, I aim to actively collaborate with colleagues across Columbia University, particularly within the Office of Student Life, to build a more inclusive foundation for underrepresented communities at SPS.
In addition, I look forward to working closely with fellow SPSSG members to ensure diverse and enriching student programming. This role has already enhanced my communication, leadership, and organizational skills while deepening my understanding of how student engagement shapes
inclusive campus experiences. As I continue in this position, I am committed to establishing clear goals and sustainable initiatives for the DEIA role. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and remain grateful to serve such a dynamic and inspiring student body.
