Neha Tewari

Neha Tewari is a seasoned professional with expertise at the intersection of data analytics, digital transformation, strategy, and operational risk and governance within global financial services organizations, including American Express, Barclays, and Fidelity Investments. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s Information & Knowledge Strategy (IKNS) program at the School of Professional Studies.

Before joining Columbia, Neha was a Senior Manager at American Express, where she spent over a decade leading data analytics, MI, and regulatory reporting initiatives. Her work focused on modernizing enterprise information frameworks and strengthening the reliability of information used for executive decision-making and regulatory accountability. At Barclays and Fidelity Investments, she supported financial reporting, data quality, and governance initiatives, as well as large-scale process migration and automation efforts within highly regulated environments.

Her academic focus builds on this professional foundation, with an emphasis on enterprise data governance and knowledge management. She is particularly interested in how well-governed data and effective knowledge flows support organizational trust, analytics, AI applications, and informed decision-making.

In addition to her professional and academic work, Neha was actively engaged in the SPS community through student leadership and service, with a focus on fostering collaboration across programs and supporting international student engagement. She is committed to helping students and peers bridge the gap between theory and practice while developing the perspectives needed to lead responsibly in complex, data-driven environments.
