Francesca Antonone is a student in the M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) program at Columbia University. She is a prospective corporate litigator focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), notably negotiation and mediation. Through this program, she is refining her ability to manage complex, multi-party negotiations, which she intends to employ in her future legal practice, particularly in corporate and intellectual property law.
As Co-Founder and Board Member of ARS Farmacie S.r.l., Francesca has successfully led strategic initiatives, increasing operational efficiency by 35% and negotiating numerous high-value contracts in the pharmaceutical sector. She has also gained significant professional experience through her internship at Baker McKenzie within the Intellectual Property & Technology (IPTech) department, where she developed GDPR compliance strategies and enhanced client data privacy protocols. At Columbia Law School’s Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, she contributed to global climate litigation efforts by managing a comprehensive database of international climate-related cases, providing in-depth legal analysis that informed ongoing litigation strategies. Additionally, her time at the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce further honed her healthcare policy and corporate research expertise, allowing her to engage directly with legislative processes and key industry stakeholders.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Francesca serves as a Sino-European Cultural Ambassador at Associazione Culturale 'Sillabe di Seta - APS,' where she promotes cross-cultural understanding between Italy and China. A young member of the International Bar Association, she is enthusiastic about advancing her legal vocation on a global stage. Fluent in Italian, English, and Mandarin, Francesca earned a double degree cum laude in Political Science and Legal Studies from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), where she also pursued minors in Business Law, Public Policy, and Heritage.
