Hello everyone!

My name is Alexandra Mayorga (Alex), and I’m honored to continue serving in SPSSG as the Human Capital Management Program Representative. I’m originally from Peru, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business and built a career in HR as a business partner and consultant. With over eight years of experience across Latin America and the U.S., I’ve always focused on creating people-centered experiences that drive growth and connection.

I’m excited to continue building connection, community, and collaboration by fostering spaces where every student feels included, supported, and empowered to make the most of their Columbia journey—academically, professionally, and personally. I’m passionate about turning ideas into action, and I believe that partnering with SLO, CDL, and ISSO is key to expanding opportunities for engagement and belonging.

Outside academics, I love meaningful conversations, exploring new ideas, and finding creative ways to bring people together. For me, Columbia is more than a school—it’s a community of diverse voices and shared ambitions, and I’m grateful to help it thrive.
