Tiala Scott

Tiala Scott is a 2023 graduate of the first degree-granting HBCU, Lincoln University (PA). She received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with a minor in Bioinformatics, and a B.A. in Spanish, and graduated as the class valedictorian. Upon graduation, she worked as an Associate Project Manager in the Research Pathology department at Genentech, and at the beginning of 2024, transitioned to another team at the company, where she worked as a Bioinformatics Project Manager. She is currently a full-time student in the Information & Knowledge Strategy M.S. program and hopes to continue exploring the field of project management after obtaining her Master's degree. Outside of school/work, she enjoys traveling, golfing, trying new restaurants & cafes, and spending time with loved ones.
