Claire Husson-Citanna

Claire Husson-Citanna, CFA, serves in Capital Markets and Trading at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she focuses on monetary policy implementation and market monitoring. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, she held senior portfolio management positions in global fixed income at Franklin Templeton Investments, Wellington Management Company, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority sovereign wealth fund.

Beyond her institutional investment experience, Ms. Husson-Citanna co-founded and led Bondcoins, an intrapreneurial fintech venture incubated at Abu Dhabi Global Markets. This pioneering initiative developed a proof-of-concept for sovereign debt crowdfunding utilizing both traditional fiat-denominated and blockchain-tokenized government bond structures. She commenced her professional career as a financial services auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in banking, capital markets, and sovereign debt operations, including engagements with Agence France Trésor.

Her research interests encompass global macro, developed and emerging markets interest rates, sovereign debt restructuring, artificial intelligence integration for portfolio management, primary market auctions design, tokenized securities, stablecoins, and central bank digital currencies. Her work integrates quantitative finance, monetary economics, and distributed ledger technology in global foreign exchange and sovereign debt markets.

Ms. Husson-Citanna holds an MBA from ESCP Business School and an MPA from Columbia University's SIPA. She has completed specialized executive education in Cryptocurrency at the MIT Media Lab and Artificial Intelligence Strategy at the UC Berkeley School of Information. She is a CFA charterholder.
