Ivan Bakrac

Ivan Bakrac is a finance executive with two decades of experience across institutional capital markets, corporate treasury, digital assets, blockchain, and applied AI in finance. He is an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Payments, where he leads Agentic Treasury Product Strategy and the development of AI-native capabilities for institutional treasury workflows. J.P. Morgan Payments delivers global payments, treasury services, liquidity solutions, and enterprise blockchain-based financial infrastructure to institutional clients.

Previously, Ivan served as Head of Treasury at ConsenSys, where he led digital asset treasury strategy and execution and partnered with senior leadership to launch blockchain-enabled financial products. Earlier in his career, he held senior investment leadership roles at Invesco and Franklin Templeton, including Head of Multi-Sector Fixed Income Portfolio Management and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Quantitative Strategies.

Ivan holds a Master of Science in Financial Analytics and Data Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. In academia, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Practice in Emerging Technologies at Wake Forest University, with a focus on AI and Blockchain, and as a Part-Time Lecturer at Columbia University, where he teaches Blockchain and Enterprise Risk Management.
