Damage Control: Crisis Communications in an Omni-Channel World

Today’s variety of communication channels empowers organizations to become their own broadcasters, reach a greater audience, and respond to crises through multiple mediums. But they also involve risks and add complexity to communication planning and execution. Join us for an evening of networking and discussion with fellow students, alumni, and friends of the Columbia SPS Master’s in Strategic Communication program, as well as three distinguished panelists:

  • Ben Branham, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Pythia Public Affairs; Former Chief Communications Officer, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
  • Sarah Meyer, Former Chief Customer Officer, MTA
  • Frank Washkuch, Executive Editor, PRWeek

The panel will be moderated by Assaf Kedem, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Mitsubushi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and Lecturer in Crisis Communication for the Columbia SPS Strategic Communication program.
