Suzanne Klatt leads Sustainability and Government Affairs at ABM managing the company’s sustainability initiatives and public policy strategies. Her role includes creating and implementing the corporate sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals, developing a carbon reduction roadmap, integrating best practices on renewable energy procurement and vehicle electrification strategy.
Prior roles are Vice President of ESG and Sustainability at American Express leading the company-wide implementation of sustainability goals and the net zero climate commitment. At IBM, she was the Global Lead of Environmental, Social and Governance Programs and Strategy. During her time at NASDAQ, she shaped the sustainability approach and response to climate change. Her previous position was Vice President of Environment and Sustainability at Prudential Financial, Inc. integrating long-term value creation into the company’s sustainability strategy. Prior work experience includes trade and investment roles with the Canadian and French governments.
Suzanne completed her master’s in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. She has a second master’s degree in French Studies from New York University and a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
