Wendy Hapgood held leadership sales roles in the capital markets at premier investment banks including Barclays and Citibank across Singapore, Japan and on Wall Street. After experiencing the environmental devastation of the Fukushima nuclear crisis, she decided to switch careers to pursue her passion for environmental protection and contribute to the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss. She is currently the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Wild Tomorrow, a wildlife conservation non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of threatened and endangered species and the habitats they depend on for survival. She holds a BA (Japanese), BEng (Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering) and Master of International Relations (Asian Politics) from the University of Queensland Australia, and completed the MS in Sustainability Management at Columbia University in 2017.
