Pooja Chawda

Pooja Chawda has over fourteen years of professional experience at Meta (formerly Facebook), the United Nations, World Bank, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Chawda is an expert in environmental disclosures as well as sustainability and GHG accounting. 

At Meta, she currently leads the supplier environmental responsibility program, including net zero roadmap, and driving the adoption of sustainability practices across Meta’s value chain. She has experience in project management, regulatory oversight, and operations analysis. 

Chawda received an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in 2018 after having earned an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the European Center for Peace Studies and a dual B.A. in communication and german/french from The University of Bonn.
