Angela Simmons

Angela was born in Iwakuni, Japan and grew up in Southern California. She recently moved to New York City from San Francisco where she worked as an Academic Counselor. Previously, Angela worked at UC Irvine as the Program Coordinator in the Center for Student Leadership where she discovered her interest in the intersections of higher education, mental health, and social justice. In her free time, she loves exploring the city, watching a good movie, cooking, doing yoga and pilates, and spending time with friends and family.
