Alexander McGee Guest Lectures on Real Estate and Cryptocurrency in Columbia’s Construction Administration Program

Columbia’s Construction Administration program invited Balcony DAO’s Co-Founder Alexander McGee to guest lecture Jason Levine’s Estimating Project Costs course. Balcony DAO is a Web3 investment bank that provides crypto financing solutions for real world assets. Together with co-founders John Belitsky, Mike Reichel, and Dan Silverman, McGee taught the class about cryptocurrency and the real estate industry. The class also talked about how estimating and development go hand-in-hand, the landscape of development and construction landscape, and how Balcony DAO is using cryptocurrency to revolutionize the real estate space.

McGee has been executing complex business strategies to maximize investor returns over the past 5 years. Named 2021 Commercial Observer 30 Under 30, he has been a successful commercial real estate broker for Massey Knakal, Cushman & Wakefield and Ariel Property Advisors. He then co-founded multiple full service real estate investing companies such as McGee Ryan Assets and Prime City Ventures which, in a very short time, are developing over 300M of condominium and apartments in the New Jersey market.

Utilizing his rich experience and encouraged by the drive for a forward thinking web 3.0 real estate investing platform, McGee and other co-founders built Balcony DAO in October 2021. McGee holds a B.A from Temple University and also guest lectures in the MSRED program at Columbia University and the Schack School of Real Estate at New York University.
