Lecturers Christopher W. Collins and Brittany Ober Co-Chair ALP Winter Conference

The School of Professional Studies’ American Language Program (ALP) hosted its annual Winter Conference on Saturday, February 26, 2022. The conference, the eighth English-language learning conference held by the ALP, provides an opportunity for TESOL professionals and language educators to share their knowledge of and experience in academic English instruction. The theme for this year's conference, co-chaired by ALP lecturers Christopher W. Collins and Brittany Ober, was “Teaching and Learning Grammar.”

The event began with a plenary session presented by Scott Thornbury, an educator, lecturer, teacher, and author based in Barcelona, Spain, titled “The Persistence of Grammar.” Watch the video recording of the plenary presentation below.
