Dr. Melissa Mayard Wilson

Melissa has served in a number of programmatic roles focused on student life and multicultural affairs in the higher education space. Prior to joining Columbia, Melissa has worked with traditionally underserved students through academic, financial and counseling support. Melissa holds an Ed.D from the University of Southern California in the Organizational Change and Leadership, an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies from Hofstra University, and a B.A in English from Stony Brook University. She's been involved in a variety of organizations including her sorority Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. When she's not walking the grounds at one of her favorite parks, she is working on music as a DJ, or traveling.
