Silvana Nuzzo

Silvana Nuzzo is currently a Principal at Pay Governance LLC, an executive compensation consulting firm that specializes in incentive pay design and providing support to the compensation committees of the board of directors. She was previously the global Head of Total Rewards at Argo Group, Inc., a Bermuda-based specialty insurer in the property and casualty market, where she had oversight over all areas relating to compensation, benefits, payroll, HR operations and HR technology. Prior to her role at Argo, she was Director of Executive Compensation at International Flavors & Fragrances, where she facilitated the design and administration of the Company’s executive short- and long-term incentive programs. Silvana previously spent 15 years of her career in consulting roles at Pearl Meyer & Partners and FW Cook & Co., where she advised both privately-held and publicly-traded companies across multiple industries on executive pay design and corporate governance matters.

Silvana has been a frequent speaker on compensation and corporate governance topics for various organizations such as WorldatWork, The Conference Board and the Global Equity Organization (GEO). She holds a M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. in English Literature from Hunter College.

Silvana lives in New York City with her husband and two boys. She enjoys traveling and attending her boys’ sporting events.
