Kjerstin Pugh

Deputy Program Director

Kjerstin Pugh serves as the Associate Director of Curriculum Development for the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program and as a Course Associate (NECR 6125, 5250; BIET 5207).

Her professional and academic interests intertwine, with focuses on inclusion, youth development, community building, and conflict analysis. Pugh's areas of research include identity, conflict escalation, and inclusive practices.

She has formally trained in restorative practices, facilitation, family engagement, and Kingian Nonviolence. Pugh has worked with JAMS, NYCID, Mediators Beyond Borders, CT State Department of Education, Educational Opportunities Civil Rights Working Group (United States Attorney's Office, District of Connecticut), Anti-Defamation League, and CMMI Institute.

Pugh is a member of the School of Professional Studies DEIA Committee, Academic Affairs Business Processes Working Group, and NECR's Program Curriculum Committee.
