Lakshmi Shyam-Sunder is responsible for overseeing financial and operational risks and is a member of World Bank Senior Management Financial, Operational and Enterprise Risk Committees as well as the Pension Finance Committee. She is a member of the World Economic Forum CRO Community and is also co-founder of the Global Emerging Markets (GEMs) risk database, a Consortium for Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and International Financial Institutions (IFIs).
