SPS Sports Management alum Andrew Hawkins is already having a big 2018. In the first week of January alone he has signed with Octagon for media representation and launched a podcast. The ThomaHawk Show, co-hosted with Joe Thomas, will give Hawkins a platform to showcase his wit, communication acumen, and deep knowledge of the football world.
Hawkins is building off a strong 2017. Last year, he became host for ESPN’s new SportsCenter show on Snapchat and spent the NFL season co-hosting Operation Football on ESPN radio. He also earned his Sports Management degree with a 4.0 GPA—and finished seven years in the NFL with 2,419 receiving yards, 209 receptions, and nine touchdowns.
At graduation, Hawkins delighted family, classmates, and fans by writing a message on his cap: “Just as smart as I am quick. Shuttle: 4.0 GPA 4.0.”
