HBCU Alumni are using their M.S. in Nonprofit Management to Make a Difference in their Communities

"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.”

– Marian Wright Edelman

The M.S. in Nonprofit Management program at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies celebrates all of our historically Black College and University Fellows, both current students and alumni of the program. Among participating master’s programs in the Columbia HBCU Fellowship, the Nonprofit Management program is proud to be one of the graduate programs Columbia HBCU Fellows repeatedly choose. We are pleased to be educating the next generation of change leaders in the nonprofit sector, many of whom are already professionally active and making a difference in their communities. Read about two of our Nonprofit Management HBCU alumnae who are already using their recent degrees to better their communities and world, Rachel Oatis and Leisha Cason.
