Existentialism and Romantic Love Receives Praise
Skye C. Cleary, author and lecturer for the School of Professional Studies’ Advanced Business Certificate and Certification of Professional Achievement in Business has continued to receive positive reviews for her book Existentialism and Romantic Love, published last year. The book explores how thinkers as far back as Plato and as recent as Simone de Beauvoir have “shaped the modern ideal of romantic love.” A reviewer from the University of Warsaw writes:
“Cleary’s book is a perfect example of very thoughtful, critical, creative, and inspiring reflection (both philosophical and historical) on the subject matter to which none of us can be completely indifferent.”
