Dr. Avantika Tomar, Associate Partner at EY-Parthenon, a leading global strategy consulting firm, joined Nabeel Ahmad's Organizational Strategy & Learning class to discuss organizational consulting and the role HCM strategists play.
During the class, Dr. Tomar discussed two organizational consulting projects and helped students connect the theory of HCM to real world issues and solutions. She discussed the process of delayering an organization and its effects on the organizational efficiency and learning capacity.
Dr. Tomar also outlined a case study in strategic workforce planning and how it contributes to creating an HR plan that leverages the right people with the right skills, in the right jobs and at the right time to measure current skills and effectiveness of L&D programs.
