Celebrating the 5th Year of the Columbia HBCU Fellowship Program

The Columbia HBCU Fellowship Program, established in 2017 to bring talented HBCU graduates from around the country to pursue a master's degree at an Ivy League institution in New York City, is celebrating five years of continued growth, community impact, and the Fellows who have furthered their education at Columbia University.

The program prepares high-performing HBCU graduates to lead, innovate, drive community impact, and advance their professional industries through program engagement, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Recent graduates of historically Black colleges and universities are nominated by HBCU faculty or administrators to apply to participating master’s programs at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. Admitted fellows are offered full tuition and on-campus housing, as well as specialized programming and community engagement throughout the academic year.
