Angela Blum-Finlay Named One of New York's "Notable Women in Talent Resources"

Angela Blum-Finlay, a leading human resources professional and a lecturer in Columbia University’s M.S. in Human Capital Management program, has been named one of the Crain’s New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Talent Resources.

Blum-Finlay, who is Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Dime Community Bank, is among 62 women leaders “selected for their accomplishments, mentorship skills, and community involvement.”

The venerable business publication called Blum-Finlay a “primary change agent” at the bank who “has drawn on the knowledge and know-how gained in two decades of talent management experience to lead a concomitant shift in Dime’s human resources functions.”

In its announcement of the 2020 class of honorees, Crain’s also made reference to the organizational challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic:

“We could not have selected a more appropriate time to honor the women who set the pace in New York’s talent management ranks as they are in the front lines of corporate America in the current national health crisis.”
