Mike Richter

Mike Richter is President of Brightcore Energy, a leading provider of clean energy solutions for commercial and institutional buildings. A former New York Rangers goaltender, he enjoyed a 15-year NHL career, earning three All-Star selections, a Stanley Cup, World Cup Gold, and an Olympic Silver Medal before his 2008 induction into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. After retiring, he earned a Yale degree in Ethics, Politics, and Economics and launched a sustainability-focused career, co-founding Environmental Capital Partners and later Healthy Planet Partners. Since 2016, he has led Brightcore’s expansion in geothermal and advanced clean energy technologies.
