Ryan Meinke

Ryan Meinke is a senior project director of sustainability, energy, and climate change at WSP USA. Meinke has over 10 years of professional experience advising companies on sustainability strategy, science-based target setting, carbon accounting and reporting, and supply chain decarbonization. Clients have included recognized sustainability leaders in diverse industries (including technology, finance, food and beverage, and apparel) as well as companies at earlier stages of their sustainability journey. Meinke has a long history of leadership in the development, management, and evaluation of climate change policy and programs for large commercial organizations, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. Meinke has built GHG emissions inventories, developed CDP climate change responses, helped develop science-based targets for companies at various levels of maturity, and helped establish some of these companies as sustainability leaders over several years of engagement. Meinke holds an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and an M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to sustainability consulting, Meinke worked as a management consultant for nearly a decade.
