Renee Milliaressis

Chief Media Officer, Colgate-Palmolive

Prior to serving in her current role as Chief Media Officer, Colgate-Palmolive, Renee Milliaressis worked for 25 years at top media agencies. At these agencies, she has helped such notable companies as Procter & Gamble, Kraft, Coca-Cola, and AT&T successfully navigate the ever-changing media environment.

Milliaressis joined the GroupM family of companies in 2006 to manage the Colgate business in the U.S. and LatAm at Mindshare’s sister agency, MEC. A year later, she played an integral role on the team that pitched and won the AT&T business, one of the largest consolidated assignments in the industry after its acquisition of Cingular Wireless. For four years, she led the integrated team for AT&T, spanning a full spectrum of service across all media including e-commerce, digital, audience buying, business science, and direct response. Milliaressis received a Mosaic Award for Supplier Development Achievement from the AAF for her work in supplier diversity.

Prior to joining GroupM, Milliaressis spent 20 years at MediaVest where she held positions including President of Strategy and Chief Operating Officer. While there, she was a key member of the team that pitched and won three of the largest consolidated assignments in the industry for Kraft, P&G, and Coca-Cola. As Director of Communications Planning for P&G, Milliaressis was a lead member of the team that built the first-of-its-kind reach-based planning system. Using recency theory as its underpinning, the system changed the currency of planning from GRP’s to reach. As President of Strategy, she managed the divestiture of Communications Planning from the full-service advertising agency D’Arcy. The unit was joined with TeleVest, a media investment company, to form MediaVest.
