Palaash Bhargava

Palaash Bhargava is an applied microeconomist whose current research interests sit at the intersection of development, labour, behavioral and network economics. Within his work, he explores the influence of networks, culture and non-standard economic preferences on individual labour outcomes and aggregate institutions. Given the wide scope of applicability of these fields, he often works on topics that are closely related to economic history, cultural economics, social transmissions and human capital formation. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the department of economics in Columbia University. Prior to that, he has worked as an instructor of economics at the New York University, Abu Dhabi and an investment banker with Nomura.

Programs
