Nicole Gasaway

Nicole Gasaway is a global human resources executive with 25 years of experience in consumer products, retail and technology organizations. She is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Wakefern Food Corp., a $16 billion revenue member-owned retail co-operative.

She is responsible for creating and leading a people strategy to match an evolving business strategy in a volatile retail environment. She has been on a mission to build a strategic HR function: strategy, programs/initiatives, capability and team. Her focus areas include: organization performance, organization design, HR technology investment strategy, leadership development, leadership transitions, HR delivery, talent strategy, culture evolution, employer brand, employee experience and data & analytics.

Prior to Wakefern, she held HR executive positions at Unilever and Rolls-Royce plc. Nicole started her career in General Mills, where her two favorite roles were HR Manager at a flour mill and corporate talent management, which involved developing expertise in talent, leadership development and organization effectiveness. Nicole has had the opportunity to work and live in Montreal, Quebec and in London, in addition to roles across the U.S.

Nicole serves as a Corporate Advisory Board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey and an HR/Compensation Committee Member at GS1 U.S.
