Michael E. McGuire, Jr.

Lecturer of Entrepreneurial Studies, Summer Session

Michael started his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JPMorgan Chase) and then pursued his passion for entrepreneurship through multiple venture starts in the commodity trading, finance, asset management and technology sector. He is currently the General Partner of Twelve22 Capital Partners, a FinTech PE fund, Managing Partner of Triple Trunk Capital, Vice-Chairman of Atomyze (an asset tokenization platform) and Co-Founder and CEO of Symbridge (a digital asset exchange).

Michael has been on the board of Stillwater Mining (NYSE) and Plug Power (NASDAQ). His non-profit startup, the ITP Foundation, funded research on ITP, a rare bleeding disorder. He is a coach for Babson’s Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program, and has served as a mentor for Goldman Sachs “10KSB” program, and a tutor at Columbia’s Community Impact.

Michael spent 4+ years living and working overseas. He was a Finalist for Ernst &Young - Entrepreneur of the Year and is a 5-time Ironman Finisher.
