After beginning his career as a “quant” modeler on Wall Street, Tony taught on the full-time faculty of the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program for several years. In all, Tony has led over $5 billion in corporate investment initiatives, spanning areas such as sustainable and inclusive lending, ESG and GRC compliance and corporate venture capital. Tony has also developed, designed and delivered over 300 public and customized corporate courses for leaders in a variety of risk and analytics areas: chiefly helping data analytics professionals tell better stories with data. Tony is a former business columnist for Forbes, The Harvard Business Review and Inc.com. He received is Ph.D. and M.A. from Princeton in behavioral economics, where he was a student of Nobel Laureates John Nash, David Card and Daniel Kahneman and a dissertation advisee of Ben Bernanke.
