Leland Wei

Lecturer, Actuarial Science

Leland Wei is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Actuarial Science at Columbia University. He has 20+ years experience in the financial industry, including 11 years at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director, Business Unit Risk Manager and Senior Quantitative Strategist, specializing in fixed income, foreign exchange and emerging markets. He also worked for Merrill Lynch, Citibank and ING Barings in fixed income research as quantitative analyst and strategist. His recent work focuses on investment strategy and risk management on the asset management side. Dr. Wei was a Chartered Financial Analyst for more than fifteen years.
