Haralambos (Bob) Vasiliadis

Lecturer, Sustainability Management; Director of Environmental Compliance, Environmental Planning and Management, Inc

Haralambos (Bob) Vasiliadis has over 29 years of professional, academic, and research experience and has served as senior vice president, senior technical advisor, and senior water resources and environmental (WR&E) engineer on major Federal, NYS, and NYC infrastructure projects in NYC. He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in WR&E Engineering from New York University (previously known as Polytechnic University). He currently serves as director of environmental compliance with Environmental Planning and Management, Inc. and as an adjunct professor at various universities.

Dr. Vasiliadis is a Diplomate of the American Academies of Environmental Engineers (DEE), Water Resources Engineers (D.WRE), and Industrial Hygienists (DIH). He is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygienists. His teaching and research interests include WR&E systems analysis, deterministic and stochastic optimization and decision-making, and risk analysis and assessment. His professional interests include sustainability and resilience management of WR&E systems, environmental assessments and modeling, ambient and indoor air quality pollution monitoring and control, hazardous materials and waste management, and quality assurance and quality control.
