Gemini Yadav is a senior risk management and internal audit professional with experience overseeing the execution and management of risk programs in New York and Tokyo.
Gemini leads the enterprise risk function in the internal audit department at Signature Bank, New York. In her previous role, Gemini worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as Head of Risk Reporting and Enterprise Risk Oversight. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Gemini worked at Lehman Brothers, Neuberger Berman and Barclays Capital in Asset and Wealth Management across operational risk and portfolio performance analytics.
At Signature Bank, Gemini provides assurance for the enterprise risk functions (Market and Liquidity Risk, Model Risk, Operational Risk, Vendor Risk, Business Continuity); business areas such as Credit, Lending, Treasury, Foreign Exchange, Fund Banking, Venture Capital. Gemini’s prior experience includes managing the implementation of all aspects of an enterprise risk function, including risk frameworks, governance committees, risk infrastructure, processes and tools to identify, assess, measure, prioritize, mitigate, monitor and report risk.
Gemini is an experienced lecturer and an active contributor to updating and aligning the course with current industry practices. She brings real life experiences and mentors students for careers in the risk industry. She regularly contributes as a speaker at risk conferences and training. Her current interests include interdisciplinary analysis of financial and non-financial risks including climate risk, geopolitical risk and cyber risk.
Gemini completed PhD. coursework and Master of Philosophy (MPhil.) in International Relations and has a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from New York University, amongst other degrees.
