David Zucker

Senior Strategic Communications Consultant

David Zucker is a senior strategic communications consultant who develops innovative solutions that help purpose-driven organizations achieve their social, environmental, business, and organizational objectives. He has extensive experience in nonprofit communications, social marketing, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and public health communications.

David assists NGOs, governments, and multilateral agencies working to change health and environmental-related behaviors, including policymakers, private sector players, funders, and other influencers. In the private sector, he helps corporations formulate impactful social responsibility and sustainability platforms and communications that engage employees, consumers, and stakeholders as partners in creating social and environmental value.

His client experience includes the U.N. Foundation, United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, U.S. Agency for International Development, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Florida Department of Health Tobacco Prevention Program, American Legacy Foundation, American Cancer Society (U.S. and global programs), Alzheimer’s Association, Citizens Committee for New York City, Timberland, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, British Airways, Absolut, and Bristol Myers Squibb.

David’s career in communications began in ad agencies including Arnold Communications and Jordan, Case & McGrath. He joined Porter Novelli in 1990 where he led client relationships and programs in behavior change and social marketing, nonprofit communications and corporate social responsibility. David established his independent consultancy in 2013. He is a French and Portuguese speaker at a level of professional proficiency. David has been the recipient of multiple awards including the International Public Relations Association’s Golden World Award and the PRSA’s Silver Anvil.
