David Marshall

Lecturer, Summer Session

Professor David Marshall has spent the past 25 years working on human rights and justice reform in fragile and conflict-affected states, including for the UN in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, and South Sudan. He is the justice advisor for the Peace and Stabilisation Operations Program at the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Global Affairs Canada). He has written extensively on human rights and justice issues, including editing and contributing to The International Rule of Law Movement - A Crisis of Legitimacy and the Way Forward (Harvard University Press). He is a graduate of Leeds University and Harvard Law School.
