Cora Szapka

Lecturer, Strategic Communitcation

Cora Szapka is an accomplished modern marketing and sales leader with more than ten years of experience in brand management, e-commerce, digital, and sales. She currently works in brand management at Johnson & Johnson where she has full brand profit and loss responsibility and leads media, communications, forecasting, trade, and financials.

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Szapka worked at Bayer where she built her general management mindset and led cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results nationally and globally. She is an expert in e-commerce and digital strategy, innovation, and new business model development. In addition, she has been nationally recognized by the Path to Purchase Institute as one of the “Who’s Who in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.” 

Szapka is passionate about delivering superior consumer experiences at the intersection of science, technology, and personalization. She is thrilled to return to the Columbia University School of Professional Studies where she attended graduate school and served as a course associate.
