Christopher Gu
Lecturer, Nonprofit Administration; Senior Director of Finance, Operations, and Analytics, Bank Street College
Christopher Gu has over a decade of experience in higher education financial management. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Finance, Operations, and Analytics at Bank Street College. He has previously worked at Columbia University, Fordham University, Teachers College, and the NYU Stern School of Business. Before entering higher education and the nonprofit sector, Christopher worked for a number of years in broadcast journalism and television production, including roles at WABC-TV, CBS News, and MTV.
Christopher started as an Associate Instructor in the Nonprofit Management Program at Columbia SPS in 2019 and has served as a Lecturer since 2022. He also currently teaches Financial Management at the undergraduate-level at the Fordham Gabelli School of Business and has previously taught at the NYU School of Professional Studies. He holds an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Journalism from NYU.
