Youth and Community Leaders in Peacebuilding: NECR Salon and Networking Reception

Join us for a conversation on the topic of youth and peacebuilding to be moderated by Dr. Beth Fisher-Yoshida, Director of the M.S. Program in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) and Executive Co-Director of the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity (AC4).

Dr. Beth Fisher-Yoshida will be joined by Columbia conflict resolution students and alumni who will share their experiences in working with youth in the conflict resolution field. The speakers’ experiences range from bringing civic and political education to high school students in Brazil, to working with UNICEF in Jordan conducting research on the hopes and aspirations of young people, and to contributing in passing a UN resolution on Youth, Peace, and Security.

We'll be meeting at Serafina Harlem for food and drinks. There will be a cash bar and light refreshments.
