Perspectives on Peace Fall Kick-off: Peacebuilding in Practice: A Panel Discussion on Fieldwork
MD-ICCCR, AC4, and NECR present an interdisciplinary panel discussion on fieldwork research featuring professors and researchers along with students working on peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
Panelists will answer questions about their research, experiences in the field, and any recommendations or suggestions they have for re-integrating upon return from fieldwork and for preparing to conduct research in the coming year.

Meet our Panelists
- Zachary Metz teaches the Applied Peacebuilding course at SIPA and is the Director of Peacebuilding at Consensus.
- Joshua Fisher teaches about Environmental Sustainability for the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Program and is the Director of the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict and Complexity (AC4) at the Earth Institute.
- Mary Mendenhall teaches courses in and directs the International and Comparative Education Program at Teachers College.
- Anjli Parrin is a fellow at the Human Rights Clinic at Columbia Law School and leads research to advance accountability and reconciliation in the context of armed conflict.
