Peace & Conflict Discusson Series: Realizing Peace: A Constructive Conflict Approach. A Talk with Louis Kriesberg

Louis Kriesberg is Professor Emeritus of Sociology, Maxwell Professor Emeritus of Social Conflict Studies, and founding director of the Program on the Analysis and Resolution of Conflicts (PARC) at Syracuse University.

He writes and speaks about issues relating to American foreign policy, the Middle East, and the fields of conflict resolution, peace studies, and constructive conflict. He will talk about his latest book Realizing Peace: A Constructive Conflict Approach. The book examines U.S. involvement in major foreign conflict episodes since the onset of the Cold War, and explores the effectiveness of American involvement in these international clashes.
