Nonprofits & Election 2020: Policy and Advocacy in Action during the National Election Cycle

Nonprofit Policy and Advocacy in Action: The Path Ahead

The turbulence and unrest of the 2020 election cycle will continue to impact our country,  communities and nonprofit sector well into the future, with towering challenges in this time of COVID, racial equity at the fore, and political polarization. How should the nonprofit sector forge ahead with new state and federal legislative agendas, with newly retooled policy priorities, and with eyes on the prize of meeting their missions?

This event in the Leading Towards Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Implementing Systemic Change Series and our final workshop in our 2020 Election Series gathered policy experts from the nonprofit and philanthropic communities analyze strategic goals, next steps, and lessons learned, even as the 2022 and 2024 election cycles already are underway.
