Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Webinar: How Collaborative Can Commercial Arbitration Be?
In this webinar, Michele Riley, faculty member for Columbia University’s Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program, will present on an approach to dispute resolution: commercial arbitration.
Each approach to dispute resolution has its own unique characteristics, including the role and responsibilities of the intervener and involved parties. Riley will discuss how arbitration can be collaborative, efficient, and effective. She will also discuss the growing role of Med-Arb and Arb-Med professionals in the field of dispute resolution. Riley is a mediator and arbitrator, handling disputes in the areas of commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, corporate governance, and general corporate law.
