International NGOs and Pandemics: Effective Approaches and Challenges

Pandemics, including Covid-19, affect communities worldwide and hamper the ability of nonprofit organizations to support the most vulnerable and at-risk populations, particularly in terms of providing the essential services to populations under severe economic crisis. These are daunting challenges for international nonprofits/NGOs in the healthcare and social assistance arena: fighting the pandemic, supporting research, and supplying critically needed medical equipment for the doctors and nurses, as well as supporting testing, treatments, and medicine to the most vulnerable communities globally.

Join us online for a live conversation on the role international nonprofit organizations play in civil society to help address some of the Covid-19 pandemic, and their unique role in helping to protect vulnerable populations worldwide.
