Book launch for new spring 2026 book "Sustainability Metrics and Management: The Path from Innovation to Routine" by Steven Cohen, William Eimicke, and Dong Guo. Format will be an interview with the three authors, followed by a book signing and a reception.

Speakers:

  • Dr. Steven A. Cohen is the Senior Vice Dean of Columbia’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) and a Professor in the Practice of Public Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He is also Director of the Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy program at SIPA, Director of the Master’s of Science in Sustainability Management program at SPS, and the Director of the Earth Institute’s Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management at Columbia University.
  • Dr. William B. Eimicke is a professor of practice and the founding director of the Picker Center for Executive Education at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He was New York City’s Deputy Fire Commissioner and the state’s housing “czar” and has coauthored eight books on management and policy.
  • Dr. Guo Dong is a Professor of Practice in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, where he teaches Sustainable Cities, Climate Risk and Scenario Analysis, and Sustainability Metrics. Guo also serves as the Associate Director of the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management at Columbia. Guo received his PhD and MPA from Columbia and BSc in Economics from University College London.
