Handling the Noise: A Mediator's Perception
Participants will explore how emotions, bias, communication dynamics, and external pressures can create “noise” that interferes with effective conflict resolution.
Through interactive discussion, practical tools, and real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to strengthen mediator presence, manage internal reactions, and maintain neutrality under pressure. The training emphasizes self-awareness, active listening, reframing, and credibility-building techniques that enhance trust and promote constructive dialogue.
Speakers/Presenters:
- Karen Crump-Wilson, Esq., Mediator, Arbitrator
