Chowdhury Tahabee

Alumni, Applied Analytics

Chowdhury Tahabee is an international  graduate student from Bangladesh. Previously, he completed his Bachelor of Arts at Earlham College, where he double-majored in Quantitative Economics and Finance.

During college, Tahabee spent his summers conducting academic research while also gaining broad professional exposure across multiple sectors of industry. During his sophomore year summer, Tahabee did research on Piero Sraffa’s standard system model while working as a data analyst at Pathao, one of Bangladesh’s largest and fastest growing technology startups. The following summer, Tahabee interned as a model risk analyst at State Street Bank, where he discovered  various use cases of analytics across multiple functional units of a global organization. His time at State Street  motivated his decision to continue his education and  learn more about the creative and impactful ways in which big data can be harnessed to drive growth and progress.

Beyond his academic and professional interests, Tahabee enjoys traveling on a budget, discovering new music, exercising, cooking (and eating) Bengali food, and supporting his favourite club in the English Premier League.
