Amanda Muñoz

VP, New Product Go-to-Market & Innovation, Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal

With nearly 20 years of marketing and communications experience at the intersection of media, technology, and community, Amanda Muñoz has a broad portfolio that includes brand strategy, new product development, subscriptions and memberships, partnerships, events, content and sales marketing, and marketing campaign execution.  

Muñoz is currently vice president, Innovation and New Product Development, for Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street JournalBarron’s, and MarketWatch. In this position, Muñoz oversees the go-to-market strategy for new products and partnerships, working across the entire organization to drive subscription growth. This is Muñoz’s second stint at Dow Jones; previously she was a marketing director for subscriber engagement and brand.

Prior to Dow Jones, Muñoz was a marketer for Meta Inc., focused on news products and programs, and a sales marketer for Random House Digital. She started her career in advertising. 

Muñoz is a proud alum of the Strategic Communication Master of Science program at Columbia University, from which she graduated in 2011. She also holds a B.A. from Tufts University. Amanda lives in Manhattan, where she enjoys reading the Journal in print and checking out the city’s many, many restaurants.
