Zachary "Zakk" Bluford

Zakk Bluford is originally from Orinda, California, a suburb of Oakland and San Francisco. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from Oberlin College. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2015 and entering the field of education, Bluford has cultivated a broad set of skills in academic systems and in student support and empowerment. Outside of work, Bluford reads history books, studies Mandarin Chinese, and plays bass guitar in his band. He is a life-long learner and brings this perspective to his work with students.
