Borja leads the newly created ESG research team for Dow Jones in Barcelona. He is a qualified finance professional with extensive experience (+15 years) in financial services and capital markets. Expert in Corporate credit risk and ESG research analysis. Deep analytical experience in high yield and investment-grade issuers.
Borja has developed most of his professional career in the rating agency and banking industries. He worked as a credit analyst at Fitch for five years mainly covering utilities and infrastructure companies in South Europe. Subsequently, he managed during four years a team of credit analysts at CRIF Ratings, a rating agency focused on European SMEs.
Previously he worked as a financial monitoring officer at European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg and also as a credit analyst in BBVA. He started his career in auditing at Deloitte in Barcelona.
